Harris has a passion for the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.
Her personal connection began in Lowville where she was born and
raised.
Drawn
to the still pines, the pure fragrances of its air, old structures,
and peaceful lakes, she returns regularly to sketch and paint in
the mountains.
In the
serenity and spiritual source she finds there, her art distills the
many moods of nature through light and value, contrast, shadows and
reflections. Each lake imprints its signature through her media. |
